Hey Im Katie

I’m an artist, facilitator, and mother based in Leipzig.

Creativity has been a constant in my life—not as something perfect or polished, but as something I return to when I feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected.

Over the years, I’ve built a way of working with creativity that is simple, consistent, and supportive. Not driven by pressure, but by showing up.

I grew up in the North East of England, and from a young age, art became my refuge.

It was the place I could express what I couldn’t say.
The place I could make sense of things that felt confusing or overwhelming.

As I got older, life became more complex. I was navigating addiction, intensity, and a constant push to hold everything together—while still showing up and achieving on the outside.

Creativity stayed with me through all of it.

Even when everything else felt unstable, making gave me a sense of grounding and purpose.

Later, I moved away, studied fine art, and eventually built a life in Leipzig.

On the surface, things were working—but internally, something still felt off. A quiet dissatisfaction. A sense of always searching for something outside of myself.

Then motherhood shifted everything.

It brought me face to face with parts of myself I hadn’t fully met before. There was no more avoiding, no more pushing things aside.

I reached a point where I had to find a different way to be with myself.

Through practices like meditation, body-based work, and deep inner reflection, I began to change my relationship to myself.

I learned how to slow down.
How to listen.
How to stay.

Creativity became something different—it wasn’t just expression anymore, it was connection.

A way of being present.
A way of moving energy.
A way of creating from within, rather than from pressure or expectation.

I began to understand that creativity isn’t something we have to earn.

It’s something we return to.

What I see now is this:

Most people aren’t blocked because they lack creativity.
They’re blocked because they don’t feel safe to show up imperfectly.

They overthink.
They stop and start.
They abandon themselves in the process.

I know this pattern—because I’ve lived it.

And I also know it can change.

The Juicy Creative Life came from this experience.

Not from a perfect system.
But from a real practice.

From learning how to show up in small, honest ways—again and again.

From creating even when things feel messy, uncertain, or unfinished.

I believe everyone deserves access to their creative life.

Not just as something they do occasionally—
but as something that supports them, grounds them, and connects them to themselves.

If you’re looking for a way back to that,
this work is here for you
